Cindy Schwartz founded Executive Excellence Group in 2018, drawing on two decades of senior leadership across technology, consulting, and the public sector in Australia and the United States.
Her career spans director-level roles at Microsoft across Asia-Pacific and Japan, C-suite advisory work at Gartner, and General Manager roles across Advisory, Consulting, and Product at Citadel Group — a government and defence technology firm.
Most recently at AWS, she led Digital Innovation and Customer Solutions for Australia and New Zealand, and served as Amazon's Emotional Intelligence Lead across Asia-Pacific and Japan. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director in the social enterprise and start-up sectors.
What connects that experience is working at the intersection of hi-stakes strategy and operational reality - cloud operating models, transformation, enterprise technology decisions - where the constraints are real, the accountability is high, and the margin for error is narrow. She works across public and private sectors and understands the different pressures leaders face in each.
Cindy has spent fifteen years mentoring and developing female leaders in technology and business. That commitment led to the founding of EXCEED Leadership, EEG's dedicated leadership development practice, and her forthcoming book.
